We improve the site almost every day. Here are the changes worth knowing about, newest first.
A new board on the homepage shows the Spotlights we added and the AI tools launched this week, with their logos and the day they arrived. It moves the other way to the Top AI stories, and the Pause button stops it.
See it on the homepage →A new page explains our goal (WCAG 2.2 AA), how we test every month, what is still missing, and how to tell us about a problem. It is linked at the bottom of every page.
Read it →We checked every type of page against the WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility guidelines and fixed what we found.
Our Editor's Picks and partners now get a deeper Spotlight: close-up screenshots of each main feature, pricing in plain words, the most popular ways people use it, and what's good to know before you start.
A new carousel shows the tools we recommend and our partners, each clearly labeled. Filter by Editor's Pick or Partner.
See Featured Apps →Feature screenshots now show the product itself, pricing pictures show every plan, and video thumbnails use a clean frame from the demo.
Save tools while you browse, then compare them side by side with your own monthly costs. Share the list with a link, print it, or back it up. No account needed.
Looking for something like Canva, Zapier or ChatGPT? 25 new pages list the closest alternatives, matched by what each tool does.
Browse alternatives →Tool makers can now suggest their tool for the catalog. Every submission is checked before it goes live.
Submit a tool →Filter Spotlights by job, by who they suit, or by Proven and New launch, and see the newest ones first. A new page explains how Spotlights are chosen.
How we pick Spotlights →A daily pick of the most useful AI news, in a carousel under the search box.
Go to the homepage →Makers can correct their details or ask for their listing to be removed, and every tool page now has an "Is this your tool?" link.
For tool makers →Pages load faster, and more than 600 tools now show their own logo in sharp detail.
Each tool is now labeled Proven, New launch or Not yet reviewed, with review evidence shown in plain ranges like "1,000+ reviews".
More than 740 tools now have their own page with an About, the AIME Score and alternatives, so search engines can find them and you can link to them.
Browse every tool →Ready-made tool sets for common setups, and fresh Spotlights published daily.
Browse Starter Kits →Search now understands typos and similar words, finds tools by meaning, and suggests results as you type.
Try it →A new page shows what goes into every score, and what never does.
Read how it works →Switch the whole site to dark mode from the header, plus a Trending sort with launch dates.
Each Spotlight now shows a demo video and screenshots we check for accuracy.
See the Spotlights →The new AI Made Easy goes live: a free guide to AI tools for freelancers and solo operators.
