How it works

How we pick Spotlights

Every tool has a page. Spotlights are the in-depth ones: here is who gets one, and why.

Spotlights · Profiles

The short version

Every AI tool on AI Made Easy has its own page, and every page shows the same AIME Score. Pages come in two depths:

Spotlight: the in-depth review

Everything on a profile, plus:

  • Screenshots of the product
  • A video walkthrough, when the maker has one
  • Its key features, explained
  • A longer write-up from us
Profile: the essentials

What the tool does, who it is for, its AIME Score and review level, and a link to try it.

  • Every tool we list has at least a profile
  • A profile is not a lower grade: it just has not had its Spotlight yet

We add new Spotlights every day.

Who gets a Spotlight, in this order

  1. Proven tools. Proven means 4.0★ or better from 25 or more verified reviewers. We work through them highest AIME Score first, and make sure every kind of job (writing, video, meetings, sales and so on) has Spotlights before a job gets more.
  2. One standout new launch a day. New launch Spotlights cover a promising tool from the last 90 days, after we check it is a real tool for work. These are labeled because there are no reviews yet.
  3. Partners, sooner. Partner tools we have a partner or referral link with may get their Spotlight before their turn. They are always labeled Partner, and they keep the same AIME Score as everyone else.

Why not every tool at once?

Each Spotlight takes real work: we capture the product pages, look for the maker's own video, check the official website and write it up. So we add a handful every day instead of rushing hundreds of thin pages.

Some tools stay as profiles on purpose: developer platforms, data-science and model APIs, and security or compliance suites. We focus Spotlights on tools that freelancers, creators and small teams use day to day.

A tool can lose its Spotlight if its website changes hands, the product shuts down, or it no longer fits.

What a Spotlight never means

  • A paid ad: Spotlights are not sold
  • A higher AIME Score: Spotlights and profiles share one score
  • That tools without one are worse

Paid links are always labeled. See how the AIME Score works and how we choose Featured Apps.

Finding the right tool

Spotlights lists every in-depth review, with search and filters by job and by who you are. Browse lists every tool we track, Spotlights included; pick "Spotlights only" under Show to narrow it.

Questions

What is the difference between a Spotlight and a profile?

Both are the tool's own page with the same AIME Score. A Spotlight adds screenshots, a video, key features and a longer write-up. A profile covers the essentials.

Why does a well-known tool only have a profile?

Usually because its turn has not come yet, or it is a developer or enterprise platform we keep as a profile. It is not a judgment on the tool.

Can a company pay for a Spotlight?

No. Partners may get their Spotlight sooner, and that is always labeled, but nobody can buy one or buy a better score.

How often are Spotlights added?

Most days, a handful at a time, plus one new launch.
